Piccolo Daimaô, known as King Piccolo or Demon King Piccolo in the English translation of the anime and the manga, is the evil half of the Namekian that removed his evil in order to become the god of the Earth.

The character was created by Toriyama to become the bad guy of the story. But this character was interesting enough to become one of the most popular of the serie.

After being released from his confinement by Emperor Pilaf, King Piccolo sets about to kill all the powerful fighters of the Tenka'ichi Budokai, thereby removing all those who might challenge him

Gokû challenges Piccolo Daimaô. He looses the first time; but thanks to the Chôshinsui water, he becomes stronger and take an actual revenge. Three years later, Gokû who followed a training in the santuary with Kami-Sama,
